In celebration of Mental Health Month, we introduced Wellbeing Walks for our Secondary female students, aimed at enhancing their mental health and overall well-being. This initiative encourages students to take part in group walks that combine the benefits of physical exercise with a focus on mental health.
The Wellbeing Walks offer a relaxed and supportive environment where students can connect with friends, meet new faces, and engage in light physical activity. Research has shown that exercise has a positive impact on mental health, and through this initiative, we hope to foster a sense of community and wellbeing among our students.
Our goal is to extend these walks beyond Mental Health Month. By doing so, we aim to continue promoting mental health awareness and self-care, ensuring that students have the support they need throughout the year.
The Wellbeing Walks are just one step in our ongoing commitment to creating a culture of mental health awareness, self-care, and support within our school community.
