"COVER ME"
2014 SLEEPING BAG AND BLANKET DRIVE.
This year Al Siraat College will be participating in the 2014 Sleeping Bag and Blanket Drive. This is a Seekers Guidance and the Ansaar Project initiative which aims to collect sleeping bags and blankets from the Muslim and wider community and redistribute them to the homeless and needy within the community.
In last year’s drive, almost 600 blankets and sleeping bags were collected throughout Australia. That meant many homeless and impoverished Australians were given a way to have a warmer sleep through Melbourne’s harsh Winter.
We have currently collect 15 blankets and hope to receive many more in the weeks ahead.
