Our Year 9 student Nur Naziihah Hafidi, aged 14, was recently asked to share her reflections as a part of a high end roundtable discussion with Victorian Equal Opportunity Human Rights Commission regarding her uncle Zekeriya Tuyan who was involved in the Christchurch massacre and succumbed to his injuries in May. Following this, Naziihah’s reflection piece was published in the Australasian Muslim Times (AMUST).
We are very proud of Naziihah’s contribution in representing her family, her school and her community. Her attendance at the meeting and written reflections have received very positive responses.
