MashAllah! It was heartwarming to see how our Year 4 students embodied Islamic values during their very first camp experience at Camp Angahook last week.
From the camaraderie shown in challenging activities (the giant swing and climbing tower being a favourite), to the teamwork displayed during activities like building huts, to the reflective appreciation of Allah’s (SWT) creation during their beach walk, it was evident they carried the teachings of Islam into every moment. The incorporation of Sunnah activities like archery and the Islamic storytelling around the campfire beautifully tied faith with fun and learning.
Their acts of responsibility, independence, and empathy show the nurturing of well-rounded character. Several students were recognised with the "Best Camper" award, as we strive to celebrate and encourage positive actions whenever we see them.
