Our Year 2 students took part in an interactive incursion, “Our Blue Marble,” exploring what makes Earth unique in the Solar System. Through hands-on experiments, they investigated Earth’s temperature, atmosphere, and water cycle, deepening their understanding of how our planet supports life.

Using thermometers, iced water, and other scientific tools, students observed environmental conditions, making real-world connections to their Term 1 Science studies on Earth’s resources. They were eager to explore how these natural systems work together and asked thoughtful questions throughout the session.

This engaging experience sparked curiosity and appreciation for our planet, setting the stage for deeper learning in the classroom. We look forward to seeing our young scientists continue their discoveries!

Exciting news from our Al Siraat Farm where we have welcomed three adorable guinea pigs to our growing farm family! Meet Coco, Hercules, and Ed (Sheeran), the newest furry friends bringing joy to our students.

Under the care of Farm Manager Mr Sharief, our guinea pigs have been touring the lower Primary classrooms, giving students the chance to learn about responsible pet care, animal behaviour, and the role of small animals in nature. Their visits have been met with excitement, curiosity, and plenty of gentle pats!

Our Year 3 classrooms had some very special visitors – tiny caterpillars! We watched in awe as they grew, formed chrysalises, and finally emerged into beautiful Monarch butterflies.

After observing their transformation, we set them free, adding more fluttering pollinators to Allah’s creation.

This journey reminds us of the beauty of Allah’s design, as He says in the Qur'an:

"And Allah has created every living creature from water..." (Surah An-Nur 24:45)

It was an incredible experience, watching nature in action!
