This vibrant gathering will be an opportunity for families in our community to come together and celebrate the beauty of the noble Qur’an, while enjoying a fun-filled atmosphere with family, food, and activities for all ages.
Program Schedule:
- 5:30pm to 7:30pm - Sports activities at various locations on campus. Engage in exciting sports activities, with separate games for men and women.
- 7:30pm to 8:15pm – Children Quran Recitation - Watch our young stars showcase their talents in a Qur’an recitation, celebrating their dedication and love for the sacred text.
- 8:15pm to 8:30pm – Maghreb Salah
- 8:30pm to 10pm- Qur’an Recitation by Qari Muhammad Ishaq: Let the soothing voice of Qari Muhammad Ishaq guide you through his beautiful and diverse recitation styles. Experience the spiritual connection to the Qur’an as it fills the night air.

City of Whittlesea are often seeking new school crossing supervisors to responsibly supervise school crossings during short morning and afternoon shifts.
To be considered for this important job you need to:
- be medically fit
- have your own transport
- be of good character
- relate well to children
- be able to talk to children’s parents and teachers
- be available to work for 1.5 hours per day, generally between 8-9am and 3-4pm on weekdays during school terms
- able to obtain and retain a Working with Children Check (WWCC) (paid for by the Council)
