SRC supported Community Market for Bushfires

20 February 2020

Our SRC members participated in a Community Market event hosted by the Australian Peace Organisation (APO) in Fawkner last Saturday, 14 February 2020.

SRC supported Community Market for Bushfires

The purpose of the community market was to help raise much needed funds for the firefighters and victims of the Australian bushfires. APO is a non-profit organisation based in Melbourne. The market featured stalls from local businesses (food, henna etc.) as well as kids face painting.

Our SRC members organised a stall selling Art and Technology products made by Years 7 to 9 students and had an opportunity to helped raise funds for Bushfire as well as SRC school projects. It was a fun filled experience for all participating students.

We would like to thank the following students who participated in the event on Saturday:

  • Balaj Elahi (College Captain)
  • Bilal Ghouse (College Vice Captain)
