We would like to share the heart-warming success of our recent outreach event where our Secondary Senior boys and College Captains took the lead in feeding the homeless in our city. On a Sunday evening in April, our dedicated students came together to make a meaningful impact in our community by doing community service hours as part of Values-In-Action program.
Led by our Secondary Senior boys and College Captains, the event featured live cooking of delicious sausage rolls with BBQ onions, alongside interactions with and serving of food and drinks to the homeless population.
Alhamdulillah’s, we served over 100 people on the night, ensuring that no one went hungry. The joy on the faces of the homeless as they enjoyed warm meals was truly heart-warming and reminded us of the power of kindness and generosity.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to "Hasene Australia" and "Craigieburn Quality Halal Meats" for their generous support, which made this initiative possible. Their partnership enabled us to serve a larger part of the community, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of those struggling.
Thank you to all involved for your dedication, compassion, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. Together, we continue to embody the values of empathy, kindness, and community service that define Al Siraat College.
