Let’s come together as a community and make Eid special for every child!
I am honoured to be selected as College Captain for 2025. As I begin my second year at Al Siraat College, my journey has been enriched through involvement in various school initiatives, such as the Values-In-Action program and student-led initiatives.
These experiences have allowed me to grow as a leader and have instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility towards our school community. Inspired by the words of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), "The best among you are those who bring the most benefit to others", I aim to lead with humility, compassion, and dedication.
Leadership Vision and Goals:
My vision is to create an environment where every student feels valued, heard, and motivated to succeed. I aim to foster inclusivity, promote academic growth, and encourage participation in extracurricular activities. By building connections between students and promoting mutual respect, I hope to create a supportive and inspiring environment where everyone feels empowered to succeed. I will work hard to represent the interests of my peers and ensure that our school community thrives.
"Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that work." - Seth Godin
As the Boys' College Captain of Al Siraat College, I am honoured to lead our school community and uphold the values that define us as a vibrant Islamic school.
From my involvement in various school activities to engaging in community service, I have always sought to embody the principles of our faith - respect, compassion, and the pursuit of knowledge. I am passionate about fostering a culture of mutual support, where students are encouraged to grow spiritually, academically, and personally.
My vision is to create an environment where every student feels that they are part of a brotherhood united by faith and purpose. In line with the teachings of Islam, I believe in leading through service and humility, as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "The best of people are those who are most beneficial to others." My goal is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive, contribute, and make a positive impact on our school and the wider community.
I also aim to enhance opportunities for student leadership and encourage involvement in both religious and extracurricular activities. By promoting initiatives that reflect our Islamic values, such as charity projects, Islamic Halaqas, and academic excellence, I hope to strengthen our sense of unity and pride in who we are.
As Allah (SWT) says in the Qur’an, "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression" (Surah Al-Ma’idah, 5:2). This verse inspires me to work together with my peers to build a school culture rooted in respect, kindness, and the pursuit of knowledge for the sake of Allah.
I look forward to leading with sincerity and commitment, encouraging my fellow students to embrace the best version of themselves, guided by the values of Islam.
Being elected as the 2025 College Vice Captain is truly an honour that I wholeheartedly embrace. My journey at Al Siraat College, which began in primary school, has been rich with invaluable lessons that have shaped me into the Muslim and leader I am today.
My experiences as an interfaith ambassador, along with my volunteer work and active participation in various school events, have ignited a deep passion for service and leadership within me. These opportunities have taught me the significance of empathy, teamwork, and resilience, which are qualities I believe are essential for effective leadership. Just like how Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: “The best among you is those who bring the most benefit to others.” I intend on applying these lessons in my role as Vice-Captain by actively supporting my fellow students and fellow captains.
My vision is to create an inclusive environment where every student feels encouraged to express their ideas and step into leadership positions. I aim to strengthen peer relationships, improve communication between students and staff, and advocate for mental health initiatives within our school. Additionally, I want to inspire students to stay motivated in their education and foster a deeper connection to their faith. By providing support and resources, I hope to empower each individual to pursue their goals, excel academically, and grow spiritually. Through this, I firmly believe that by collaborating and supporting one another, we can accomplish amazing things and create a lasting positive influence on our school community.

My name is Farhan, and I am honoured to have been selected as the Boys Vice-Captain for 2025 at Al Siraat College. Over the past two years, my experiences at this school have shaped me into a proactive and dedicated leader. Whether competing in interschool competitions or taking part in the Values-In-Action program and student-led initiatives, I’ve grown in both character and leadership.
My inspiration comes from the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) who said: "The best of leaders are those who serve the people." This motivates me to serve my fellow students and community with humility and dedication.
As Vice-Captain, my role is to actively support the captains in planning, organising, and representing Al Siraat both within the school and on a broader stage. I am committed to creating a positive school environment and enhancing student life.
My goal is to leave a lasting, positive impact on the school and its students, ensuring we all thrive together.
