The annual Scholastic Book Fair has opened earlier this week, being an instant hit with our students throughout the school. Besides various genres of books for different ages, the Book Fair also has some cute and funky stationery for sale.
Did you know that the more books that our students purchase, the more free books we would get as a school? Every child who buys a book has a chance to win a free one! Your support of this vital literary event is key in helping us obtain new books and resources for our library collection and classrooms. The "Reading Oasis" is also a wonderful opportunity to bring students, teachers and parents together in our mission to develop young readers into lifelong learners.
Your child/children may still attend the Book Fair until next Monday, 6 December. The day after (on Tuesday, 7 December), our Book Week celebrations come to an end with the highlight being the much anticipated Book Character Parade. You may like to make use of the weekend to get your child’s costume organised.
