It’s that time again when pens and books, oh and I almost forgot, iPads, are put down for a day and students battle it out in friendly competition. Our 2016 Sports Carnival and Fun Run will be held on FRIDAY, 22nd April 2016.
Students can wear their house colours, provided they are adhering to the College’s Islamic dress code.
Sports Carnival Outline
8:30am-8:50am: Sports Carnival Opening – All students assemble on the asphalt in front of the secondary staff room building
8:50am-9:45am: Novelty Events Begin- Year level groups to move to their respective starting stations
9:45am-10:10am: Recess – Fruit snack
10:10am-10:15am: House Teams assemble on the asphalt in front of the secondary staff room building
PRIMARY 10:15am-11:25am: Students move over to the large oval for Adidas School Fun Run & Jumping Castles
SECONDARY 10:15am-12:00pm: Senior BOYS Volleyball Tournament (Registered Teams and spectators head to volleyball courts) and Senior GIRLS Basketball Tournament (Registered Teams and spectators head to basketball court)
PRIMARY 11:25am – 12:25pm: Tug of War Challenge
SECONDARY 12:00 – 12:25pm: Volleyball (Boys) – Winning Student Team Vs Teachers and Basketball (Girls) – Winning Student Team Vs Teachers
12:25pm-12:45pm: Presentation
12:45pm-1:05pm: Lunch
1:05pm-2:00pm: Jummah
2:00pm-2:05pm: Homegroup and home time
